We believe your friendships are private. Unlike social networks, Stay in Touch is a "No-Backend" app. Your data never leaves your iPhone.

100% On-Device: We have no servers. Your contacts, notes, and history are stored locally using Apple’s SwiftData.
Military-Grade Encryption: Your personal interaction notes and "mood" logs are protected by AES-GCM 256-bit encryption. The keys are stored in your device's Secure Keychain.
No Tracking, No Ads: We do not use analytics, we do not track your location, and we will never sell your data. There are zero third-party SDKs in our code.
Transparent Permissions: We only ask for access to Contacts, Calendar, and Reminders to provide core functionality. You decide which contacts to import.

Contact Info: Names and Phone Numbers (used solely for app functionality).
User Content: Interaction notes, gift details, and reciprocity logs (stored locally and encrypted).

Data Not Collected:

No Health, Financial, or Location data.
No Identifiers (no User IDs or Device IDs).
No Diagnostics or Usage Data.

Security Architecture:

Your data is stored in the app’s protected directory and is inaccessible to other apps. Encryption keys are locked while your screen is off, ensuring your reflections stay for your eyes only.
